I am an Austin, Texas artist. .When I paint I hope to awaken people's senses to respond to the beauty of the visual world of nature. Being self taught through museums,art classes and painting every week with a group of painters called 'the Bunkhouse Gang' stretches my knowledge through the more experienced painters. . My art has been accepted in many juried shows.
. After visiting Big Bend,Texas,and Ghost Ranch,I felt a tremendous connection to the land . It gives me sheer joy to paint the light and colors or the areas. Painting with a feeling for what I have seen is another way to replay and explore what nature gives us.
